Bespoke Technologies is seeking for a VMWare Systems Administrator. The ideal candidate is a SME-level VMWare systems administrator, ready to hit the ground running on day one.
POSITION SCOPE
Provides the design, analysis, development, implementation and integration of secure and reliable computer applications and services that are essential to the work. The work may be performed independently or within a team environment. Candidate needs skills in concept development (JIRA, Bitbucket, Bamboo) and execution while managing a moderate to heavy workload. The candidate maintains a virtual machine infrastructure comprised of several virtual environments and virtual machines. This includes installing, upgrading, patching, and maintenance on hosts (hypervisors) that contain virtual machines, and any virtualization hardware and software necessary to operate and maintain the virtual infrastructure.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND DEMONSTRATED EXPERIENCE
- Demonstrated experience with VMware vSphere (vCenter and ESXi) experience support multi-site environments
- Demonstrated experience with VMware Horizon VDI experience supporting a geographically disperse enterprise with a mix of persistent and instant clone desktops
- Demonstrated experience in creating Microsoft Windows golden images
- Demonstrated experience with HP thin clients and HP Device Manager (HPDM)
- Demonstrated experience VMware App Volume experience to include application capturing and trouble shooting
- Demonstrated experience with VMware Unified Access Gateway
- Demonstrated experience in capacity planning for geographically distributed enterprise level systems
- Demonstrated experience in converting requirements into a technical plan
- Demonstrated experience with the full life cycle of system development
- Demonstrated experience working with PKI certificates and keys
- Demonstrated experience with understanding features and administrative responsibilities for maintaining the health, scalability, manageability, and security for the Atlassian applications and plugins using Data Center
- Demonstrated experience knowing all aspects of project workflows, security, permission, fields, and notifications
- Demonstrated experience with administering the following applications/plugins:
- Jira Service Management
- Jira Software
- Confluence
- Bitbucket
- Bamboo
- Fisheye/Crucible
- Crowd
- Insight/Assets
- Demonstrated experience to gather and translate business requirements into Jira projects and dashboards
- Demonstrated experience to adapt to new situations and priorities
- Demonstrated experience with effective communication skills
- Demonstrated experience with agile software development processes
- Demonstrated experience to use Linux for application upgrades and troubleshoot service disruptions
- Demonstrated experience to use JavaScript to enhance automation of Jira projects
- Demonstrated experience with general troubleshooting skills in Linux, and Puppet
- Demonstrated experience with basic understanding of network communications
- Demonstrated experience with basic understanding of enterprise storage technology, specifically Network Attached Storage (NAS) via Network File System (NFS)
- Demonstrated experience maintaining a VMware or Hyper-V infrastructure
- Demonstrated experience with basic understanding of Linux commands
- Demonstrated experience of basic understanding of Microsoft Active Directory and Group Policy Objects (GPO)
- Demonstrated experience with VMware PowerCLI using Microsoft PowerShell
- Demonstrated experience understanding basics of project management to include understanding resource planning for technical projects
