BT-99 – PTC Windchill Consultant Location: West Mifflin, PA or Niskayuna, NY(fully on-site, no remote option)

Introduction The PTC Windchill Consultant will contribute to the administering and optimizing our PTC Windchill system, translating business use cases into actionable configurations and integrating Windchill with other enterprise tools. This role involves proactively promoting Windchill’s benefits, providing user training and support, and identifying opportunities for system enhancements. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem-solver with experience in PLM systems and a strong ability to work with government institutions.

Work will be conducted at one of the following Naval Nuclear Propulsion Program (NNPP) Contractor sites:
Naval Nuclear Laboratory (Knolls) – Niskayuna, NY
Naval Nuclear Laboratory (Bettis) – West Mifflin, PA
Supplier personnel will take direction from and report status to management and technical leads
Key Responsibilities
Business/Application Administration
Contribute to the configuration, management, and optimization of PTC Windchill to meet organizational requirements.
Use Case Creation and Analysis:
Interpret and work with end users to discover business use cases and translate them into effective system configuration and enhancement candidates.
Integration
Facilitate seamless integration of Windchill with Other enterprise systems and tools to ensure efficient business processes
Documentaton and Communitcation
Document and communicate the structure, configuration, and integration points of the Windchill PLM system to support traceability, change management, and cross-functional collaboration as defined by business processes.
Proactive Solutions
Identify candidate improvements and solution to maximize Windchill’s functionality and address system changes.
Work with cross-functional internal teams to implement solutions to realize improvements.
Required Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
3-4+ years of experience with PTC Windchill administration, configuration and integration
Strong understanding of .PLM principles and best practices.
Excellent problem-solving abilities with a focus on translating business needs into technical solutions
Desired Experience
Experience with government clients or in regulated environments is advantageous.
Strong communication skills with a proactive and solution-oriented approach.
Relevant certifications (e.g. Windchill Professional Certification)
Strong desire to learn new things.
Experience with Simmens Teamcenter is a plus
Ability to work in a collaborative cross-functional team
