Location: Chantilly, VA (fully on-site, no remote option)

Work Requirements
  • The Candidate Team shall assist with the Authorization & Assessment (A&A) process of all systems in the Sponsor's portfolio, across all network fabrics, for highly sensitive, co-mingled data.
  • The Candidate Team shall be the focal point for responding to Computer Network Attacks (CNAs), malicious code incidents, data spills, and other cyber incidents on Sponsor systems and networks.
  • The Candidate Team shall track Plan of Action and Milestones (POAMs) to see them through closure, to include regular reporting.
  • The Candidate Team shall understand and be able to articulate policy engine rules as it relates to the Sponsor's portfolio.
  • The Candidate Team shall serve as a Point of Contact (POC) for IT operations.
  • The Candidate Team shall be part of a Sponsor working group that deals with extremely sensitive data. The Candidate Team shall track and optimize cloud costs to include developing cost models for IC and DoW partners.
  • The Candidate Team shall support the Sponsor's technical forums and review boards
  • The Candidate Team shall review proposed technical solutions and architectures and provide findings. The Candidate Team shall research and provide whitepapers on potential solutions to the Sponsor's technical needs.
  • The Candidate Team shall be familiar with Cloud Service Provider offerings and evaluate them for use with highly sensitive data.
  • The Candidate Team shall have expertise on encryption techniques and products, and articulate the best option for a problem set.
  • The Candidate Team shall be the focal point for cyber security vulnerabilities.
  • The Candidate Team shall have an in depth technical understanding of the Sponsor's tools and assist external partners with adoption and use.

Required Skills and Demonstrated Experience
  • Demonstrated experience accrediting systems that handle extremely sensitive data.
  • Demonstrated experience accrediting systems on multiple network fabrics.
  • Demonstrated experience designing, developing, or maintaining systems that handle extremely sensitive data.
  • Demonstrated experience designing, developing, or maintaining systems on multiple network fabrics.
  • Demonstrated experience with Cloud Service Providers (CSP) offerings, specifically AWS, Azure, and Oracle.
  • Demonstrated experience optimizing cloud hosted systems for cost and performance efficiencies
  • Demonstrated experience designing, developing, or maintaining systems used globally
  • Demonstrated experience with hybrid cloud architectures.
  • Demonstrated experience designing or maintaining on-prem architectures.

Highly Desired Skills and Demonstrated Experience
  • Demonstrated experience on Service of Common Concern (SoCC) programs.
  • Demonstrated experience designing and standardizing DevOps processes.
  • Demonstrated experience with the Sponsor's suite of tools.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting IC and DoW programs
  • Demonstrated experience with the Sponsor's Configuration Management Database (CMDB) processes and procedures.
  • Demonstrated experience with the Sponsor's system accreditation suite of tools
  • Certification(s): Cloud Service Provider certifications
