Position Summary         
Bespoke Technologies is looking for an experienced Applications Developer who can hit the ground running with minimal spin up time. Mobile app development with Android is a must have.

Job Description
  • The client requires support to directly assist the program manager with operational support, database support, collaboration with other operational teams, briefing clients, and development and execution of strategy for complex technical solutions that are widely used and relied upon.
  • The work will be performed within a team environment.
  • The client needs polished skills in concept development and execution while managing a moderate, fast-paced workload.
  • The Systems Engineer will work with clients to translate operational needs into technical requirements.
  • They will track program progress, risks, issues, and dependencies. They will serve as a geospatial technology and mobile SME.
  • The Systems Engineer will support technical meetings with vendors to communicate program and mission requirements and provide technical advice and direction based on practical knowledge of mobile phone hardware, mobile operating systems (Android/iOS), software (commercial, FOSS, and GOTS), and security mechanisms.
  • They will interact with the Enterprise teams to integrate geospatial mission data within a common, enterprise web application, to include system administration, database administration, file, and access management functions using Amazon EC2, S3, and related services.
  • They will develop mobile applications and be proficient with both Android and iOS app development.

Technologies/Tools        
  1. (Mandatory) Demonstrated experience with strong knowledge of Geospatial Information Systems (GIS) applications and services.
  2. (Mandatory) Demonstrated ability to develop Android/iOS mobile applications using React including proficiency with Visual Studio Code, Android Studio, Xcode, Nodejs, and JavaScript.
  3. (Mandatory) Demonstrated experience developing Windows and Linux application releases using the Electron framework.
  4. (Mandatory) Demonstrated experience working with small teams to manage software development activities.
  5. (Mandatory) Demonstrated experience working with clients to define functional requirements, concept of operations, and UI/UX design.
  6. (Mandatory) Demonstrated experience managing iterative software development releases.
  7. (Mandatory) Demonstrated experience tracking development sprints using JIRA.
  8. (Mandatory) Demonstrated experience managing source code in GitHub and Gitlab.
  9. (Mandatory) Demonstrated experience developing test plans.
  10. (Mandatory) Demonstrated experience providing technical support and training to a broad client base.
  11. (Mandatory) Demonstrated experience understanding emerging technical trends.
  12. (Mandatory) Demonstrated experience in software engineering and development
  13. (Mandatory) Demonstrated experience supporting technical operations.
  14. (Desired) Demonstrated experience with strong communication skills (written and verbal).
  15. (Desired) Demonstrated experience documenting process and procedures.
  16. (Desired) Demonstrated experience with tool idea conceptualization and requirements design.
  17. (Desired) Demonstrated experience working with Windows, UNIX, and Linux platforms.
  18. (Desired) Advanced degree in Software Engineering or similar.
