Required Skills:

Demonstrated experience providing system architectural guidance and recommendations
Demonstrated experience leading matrixed technical resources to deliver solutions
Demonstrated experience adding new features, optimizing, scaling, or improving stability and performance of Applications
Demonstrated experience with REST Web services and SOAP Web services
Demonstrated experience with Spring, Spring Security and Hibernate frameworks
Demonstrated experience with AWS CloudFormation Templates, Load Balancer, Autoscaling, Security Groups, S3 and KMS
Demonstrated knowledge of DEVOPS tools such as Jenkins and Github

Work Requirements:

Develop and conduct prototypes to demonstrate proposed products and services will meet the requirements
In conjunction with the client's software architect, Technical Director (TD) or designee, develop design guidance for applications developers, define target platforms, interface designs, research, test and recommend software and tools
Provide architectural guidance and recommendations
Provide business and technical consolation to the client on defining and meeting strategic objectives and roadmaps
Provide complete assessments of the technical characteristics of proposals and alternatives considered in applications design
Provide a process for evaluating new technologies and provide cost benefit analysis and recommendations to the client for technology insertion
Identify and assess integration and interoperability (I&I) challenges in system and service development plans, considering technical, programmatic, and mission dimensions
Provide full software build to include front and back-end system and sub-system components
Create, update and maintain engineering and support documentation, as approved by the client, for assigned projects and programs for the lifespan of all projects and services
